l7 i-mode

i bought my daughter the moto l7 i-mode for xmas, ...... i cant get it to play mp3's for ringtones.... is this not possible with this phone??? even though looking at the specs below it says you can (i think).......... also some of her dowloaded videos will only play sound and not show picture even though it is the correct format am i doing something wrong with her phone (possibly likely knowing me plzzz help

i have done a little checking..yes this phone plays mp3 ringtones..but im sorry i cant seem to find out of you set them..also you say some of the vids only play sound and no pic..thats something to do with how certain vids are coded ..i used to get that a lot with my nokia n70...not all 3gp/mp4 are exactly the same..i know its not much help so far.. but i will see if i can find out how you set the mp3s as ringtones..i know its not straight forward on motos...

To set mp3 as ringtone, you need to copy the track from memory card to the phone memory and then apply that track as ringtone for your mobile. Try it, this should work...
