Default is this a good deal?

You guys will know all the hidden clauses, so if you have a minute.. what do
    you think of this?
    htp://www.dialaphone.co.uk/offerdetails_white.aspx?offercode=500vt56#

    Am I missing something ?
12 months half price line rental @ £12.50 p/m , I saw the deal in the paper
and it is only a minimum 12 month contract.
500 anytime , any network minutes.
    Plus a free LG 8120.
I`ve never had a contract phone before and I don`t want to jump in
without someone who knows what they are doing having a look!
    Thanks.....................

first three months are £12.50 then you have to pay £25 for the remaining 9
    months.

However after the 6th month you claim for a cheque for the value of £37.50,
the same at month 9 and the same at month 12.

A good deal, and a good phone, not sure of 3 though, although they seem to
have got better than when they started.

    Regards
    Simon

The 3 network has been better than I expected - much better than the Virgin
Mobile that it replaced. The really good thing is that the phone connects
through 02 when it can't find 3 and that signal is excellent.
